Peter Gomes tells his clients that he has a love affair with the piano, and that's the reason he will never get rich.  He always put in more work than needed because he simply wants to see a job well done. 

Peter Gomes is a third generation piano technician.  He learned from his father, and his father learned from his grandfather.  From the time Peter was a small child, he was helping his father and grandfather building pianos in Goa, India. 

He now works as a free lance piano technician with several stores in the BC Lower Mainland.  He also has his own workshop where he repairs and restores vintage pianos.  One of the oldest piano he restored was an Ascherberg grand piano, built in Dresden, Germany, which is the same brand as that of the last Queen of Hawaii, on which she wrote her last song.
